the problem
In Turkana West, over 612,413 refugees from 17 countries face daunting challenges, including limited job prospects and essential resources. Unemployment is particularly dire among young refugees, compounded by high rates among Kenyan youth. The lack of employable skills fuels social issues like drug abuse and crime. Geographical isolation exacerbates these problems.
The solution
We recognize the urgent need to address the pressing challenges faced by these refugees and marginalized youth. Our comprehensive programs and initiatives aim to empower individuals, foster community resilience, and create pathways to economic empowerment and social cohesion.
